Revision as of 14:02, 21 March 2020
Wikimedia Community Malta was accepted as a participating member of the Wikimedia Central and Eastern Europe partnership on Friday 29 March 2019 during a thematic group meetup at the Wikimedia Deutshland office in Berlin, which was the 2019 Wikimedia Summit.
Following a proposal for participation by WCM founding member Toni Sant, CEE members expressed no reservations towards this and it was agreed that Malta's participation would be discussed on the Meta Wiki towards formal acceptance in 2020.
CEE Spring 2020
The first CEE activity in which WCM is participating fully is Wikimedia CEE Spring 2020. The contest on the Maltese-language Wikipedija is called Rebbiegħa CEE 2020.
