In July 2016, Wikimedia Community Malta participated in the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Peace_Treaties_in_Art_30_x_30_Challenge Peace Treaties in Art 30x30 Challenge] that took place in San Sebastian, Spain. Organised by [http://dss2016.eu/en/dss2016eu Donostia-San Sebastian European Capital of Culture 2016] and the [https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Basque_Wikimedians_User_Group Basque Wikimedians User Group], this writing challenge formed part of the [http://dss2016.eu/en/dss2016eu/voices/donostiapedia Donostiapedia] project.

==Aims==
The Peace Treaties in Art 30x30 Challenge was aimed at creating, translating and improving articles on [[Wikipedia:Peace_Treaties_in_Art_30_x_30_Challenge/Score|a number of paintings]] showcased in the [http://dss2016.eu/en/dss2016eu/peace/peace-treaty Peace treaty exhibitions] featuring in [http://dss2016.eu/en/dss2016eu Donostia-San Sebastián, European Capital of Culture 2016]. Through this writing, the project intended to share knowledge about the theme of peace in art across various language Wikipedias, particularly within minority languages.

==Contribution==
[[File:Donostiapedia.jpg|thumb|Wikimedia Community Malta being presented to Wikipedians in Donostia]] Wikimedia Community Malta presented its work and future plans to the various Wikipedians and Wiki User Groups that were attending. Furthermore WCM focused on translating a number of articles to Maltese in [https://mt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Il-Pa%C4%A1na_prin%C4%8Bipali Wikipedija]. Some of the articles translated are listed below:
