Like other Wikimedia groups around the world, WCM holds meetups to enable anyone interested in Wikipedia and related projects to meet informally and discuss ways to get involved in the various activities of the organization.
During the summer of 2020 we're holding free and open online meetups every other THURSDAY at 6pm CEST (that's Malta time!) on Google Hangouts via this link...

Past meetups
Face-to-face meetings of Wikipedians used to take place in Malta every 4-8 weeks. These are currently suspended until further notice, in line with WMF Covid-19 guidelines. Please join us for one of our online meetups instead.
2018

- New articles created: Sarah Ann Harrison, Tessie Camilleri, Gemma Portelli Gemma Portelli (draft).
- Discussed future involvement with Women in Red wiki project, via the Geofocus on The Mediterranean project proposed for June 2019, which is a re-run of a similar event in October 2018. Neville has attempted to contact one prolific contributor to Maltese entries during that event.

- Meetup 007: Wednesday 26 June 2019 - in collaboration with HELA at Studio Solipsis, Rabat
- Introduction to the use of Wikipedia to HELA members and attendees
- Discussed compiling list of articles to be created, edited and translated. This will include articles about wikipedia:Simone Galea, wikipedia:Inizjamed and wikipedia:Ġużè Bonnici, wikipedia:Antoine Cassar, wikipedia:Claudia Gauci, wikipedia:Elizabeth Grech, wikipedia:Lillian Sciberras and wikipedia:Daniel Massa.

- Edited wikipedia:List of Maltese people to include various personalities related to Maltese literature.
